FROM STRATEGY TO SECURITY

Managing AI Risks using the Microsoft Ecosystem

AI is rewriting the rules of work, and with it, the rules of security. The same tools that promise breakthroughs in productivity and creativity can, without the right guardrails, become gateways to data leaks, compliance breaches, and governance headaches. The challenge? Unlocking AI’s full potential while keeping your organisation’s most valuable assets safe and compliant.

The key to turning AI from a risk into a strategic advantage is to treat it like any other critical business asset governed with clear policies, protected by layered security, and continuously monitored to ensure compliance.

To show you what securing AI really looks like under the hood, CWSI’s Paul Conaty, Secure Data Practice Lead, and Ivo Kazimirs, Secure Operations Practice Lead, are teaming up for a webinar packed with live technical demos, exploring how Microsoft Defender and Purview work together to protect sensitive data and manage AI risks.

What we'll cover:

  • Data Governance in Action: How Purview sensitivity labels and retention policies keep confidential content under control.
  • AI App Control: How Defender for Cloud Apps lets you manage sanctioned and unsanctioned AI tools.
  • Real-time Protection: How to configure DLP controls that instantly block sensitive data from escaping to unsafe destinations.
  • Shadow AI Detection: How Cloud Discovery shines a light on hidden AI usage across your organisation.
  • Custom Policy Response: How to apply rules to allow, monitor or block AI activity based on user profiles.

Date & Time: September 16, 10 AM – 11 AM
Target Audience: (Senior) IT & security professionals
